根据微软的描述，Windows Longhorn出现BSOD（蓝屏,Blue Screen of Death）的几率会大为下降，然而，近日Joi Ito报道，微软将在Longhorn中引入新死机方式－－红屏（Red Screen of Death）。

当系统发生“Really Bad Errors”时，红屏就会出现。
