Mary Jo报告说,Windows 7 Beta测试者们找出了一个系统中的严重问题.
这一问题表现在利用Windows Installer安装软件和更新时,系统会随机崩溃,explorer.exe和msiexec.exe都有可能出现问题.测试者们迅速找出了原因,原来是一个Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP)中名叫Software Quality Management (SQM) Client的服务在进行ntdll.dll中的WinSqmStartSession过程时不幸崩溃,这种情况似乎是运行微软客户体验改善计划引起的,解决方案已经出来.

1) 删除注册表项 HKLMSoftwareMicrosoftSQMClientWindowsDisabledSessions中的MachineThrottling或者改名.

2)关闭Windows Customer Experience Improvement Program 也可以解决问题,路径是本地组策略中的- Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->System->Internet Communication Management->Internet Communication settings.
